The United States Antarctic Program (USAP) is the largest scientific research program in the Antarctic Region.  This world-class program is extremely complex and requires discrete decision-making autonomy, attentive and proactive stewardship of resources, consummate specialized and successful operational and planning expertise fortified with exclusive commitments and collaborative partnerships from its future support contractors and stakeholders.

With these perspectives at the forefront of our mind, Polar Science Alliance (PSA) is a business entity solely established to successfully enable this critical and complex science mission. PSA is a joint venture company formed by V2X and Parsons Corporation, with both parent companies retaining significant polar operations experience and best practices derived from both the Antarctic and Arctic along with a proven track record of global mission success.

PSA will be exclusively dedicated to the USAP, bringing 100% autonomy and timely decision-making authority augmented, as needed, with full corporate reachback support from each of the parent companies. PSA is the only known entity in the marketplace to bring proven experience and past performance in polar operations on a magnitude, scope, and complexity as that of the National Science Foundation (NSF) Antarctic Science and Engineering Support Contract (ASESC).

PSA offers a world-class science support approach through its proven and successful global logistics, sciences support and expeditionary operations experience, technology solutions, operational best practices and innovations of two large publicly traded U.S. Government services firms, along with a strategic team of niche, best-in-class-exclusive subcontractors, a formidable alliance and most viable solution for the future of the USAP. PSA and its strategic partners will effectively achieve “A New Dawn for Science Support,” both for the USAP and its stakeholders.
